“COLLECT”

Thank you Lord for Everything,
To be alive and living,
To behold the beauty of Spring,
The joy the garden is giving.

The thrill of birds,
The buzz of bees,
The rainbow hue of flowers;
What a way to while the hours!

Thank you Lord for everything
The bright and beautiful day,
The kaleidoscopic butterfly wing,
The gentle surf along the bay.

Our many blessings of which we sing
Accepted with grateful prayer,
Thank you Lord for everything,
The universe and all we share.

"TO BE”

To be a tree
And stand so high!
To have your leaves
Touch the Sky!

To be a flower
With a bright shining face!
To follow the sun
With all its grace!

To be the grass
With fresh morning dew!
To lie in quiet fields
In a melancholy mood.

To be a butterfly
And go from here to there!
God made all these things
For us to share.

Prayer

Gracious God, bestow Thy grace upon the members of this garden club and keep us always mindful of all Thy gifts, so freely given to us.

Guide us, we pray, through these days, here together, that we may widen our fields of knowledge, cultivate our understanding of each other, and may seeds of Your love
grow within our spirits.

Give us the wisdom and tolerance to appreciate the labors of our fellow members. Restrain our judgments and give us the ability to be kind and, when necessary,
quick to forgive.

Let all lovely things grown and created with loving hands, fill us with gladness and
lift up our hearts in thanksgiving.

Amen
