The Navarre Garden Club monthly meeting minutes, "Down To Earth" newsletter, most registration files, our garden club Yearbook and some other files used on, or pointed to, on this web site are pdf files. pdf is a file format created and read by Adobe software. At the bottom of this page is a link to the Adobe web site where you may download "Adobe Reader" for FREE. Don't worry about downloading files from Adobe. They are safe files.

Make sure you select the operating system you are using under the "platform" pulldown on the Adobe page. It will more than likely be either a Windows operating system version (for example Windows XP, Windows 98) or a MacIntosh version (for example MacOS 9.1). Also select the connection speed; either dial-up (if you are using a modem connected to a phone line) or broadband (if you are using DSL from the phone company or a cable hookup from the cable TV folks).

Club members please don't hesitate to send me a note if you are having a problem downloading or installing Adobe Reader. This neat software package can open the door to lots of wonderful information available on the web.
