Carolyn welcomes our guests and new members

 

Dara Dobson, FFGC Native Plant and Wildflower Chairman gave us an exciting program on growing wildflowers. She discussed planting tips for our homes and civic areas and offered us wildflower seeds to sow this fall.

This is some of the printed information Dara brought with her. Many very useful leaflets from the University of Florida Extension office and the FFGC were available free for the taking.

 

Cathi Herd gave us a great demonstration on a simply lovely fall table decoration made from a real pumpkin. Just remember to place your plus sign "+" and your "x" then fill in the spaces.

Cathi makes it look so simple!!

The final product ... lovely!!

 

Checkout our Recording Secretary's Halloween "booboo" .. makes it hard to take those minutes!! Get well soon Kathy!!

 

What a great selection of plants for our plant exchange this month!!

We also distributed our proposed new Bylaws which will be voted on in December.
