Navarre Garden Club - February 2005 Meeting

Rebecca Rushing gave us a great presentation on sea birds that we have locally in our area.

Here Rebecca is explaining to us the ways to tell the difference in gulls and terns.

 

The Eastern Brown Pelican is prevalent in our area

 

Our Horticulture chairman told us about growing and "training" bonsai plants in our Plant of the Month presentation

 

Though Jim told us about bonsai, he didn't want to give away his baby of 6 years. Instead our plant drawing this month was for some baby spider lilies.

 

Here's one of the lucky winners of a baby spider lily.

 

And our generous president, Linda, brought flowers and arrangements for our drawing to celebrate Valentine's Day. How nice!!
